On 27th February 2020, Andrew Morris will speak at a Law Society Advocacy and Solicitor Judges event. Amongst those speaking are Justice Sarah Falk DBE High Court Judge (Chancery Division) and JAC Commissioner, as well as the President of the Law Society, Simon Davis.
The focus of the event will be to maintain strong links with solicitors who wish to apply to become judges in the future as well as a drive to encourage more solicitor-advocates to apply to become Queens Counsel.
Andrew will be speaking about his journey as a solicitor advocate including his experiences working on some of the varied and challenging criminal cases conducted at ITN Solicitors. He will also discuss and highlight the importance of the vulnerable witness training scheme and the changing landscape of criminal litigation and advocacy.
