Netflix release film on pioneering work on data rights by our head of department Ravi Naik.

In an increasingly digital age, power is shifting to corporate actors; power that derives from ever increasing access to our personal information. The head of our data rights department, Ravi Naik, pioneered challenges to the way our data is used, to put people in control of their information. Notably, Ravi spearheaded the challenge to Cambridge Analytica's use of personal data, particularly the way that company used political data in elections.

Now that the story is brought to a wider audience through a Netflix documentary, The Great Hack, released on 24th July 2019. The trailer appears here and a review of the film appears here.
