About Us

ITN Solicitors is a leading law firm, consistently recognised in legal directories and renowned for its high-profile, ground-breaking work. Our Immigration Department handles complex, sensitive, and often life-changing cases, reflecting our deep commitment to justice, fairness, and the rights of individuals.

The Role

We are seeking a committed and proactive paralegal to join our Immigration Department at our Head Office in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and growing team dedicated to supporting clients with immigration and asylum matters.

You will work under the supervision of a partner and alongside several fee earners. The role combines administrative and casework responsibilities, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
This area of law is demanding and fast-paced, often involving clients in vulnerable and urgent situations. We are looking for individuals with a genuine, long-term interest in immigration and asylum law, and a demonstrable commitment to the rule of law and the universality of human rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and casework support to the Immigration Department
  • Draft legal correspondence and documents
  • Manage case files and record time using our case management system
  • Coordinate meetings, manage diaries, and attend hearings to take notes
  • File documents at court and assist with general legal tasks
  • Communicate effectively with clients, including over the phone
  • Comply with all applicable professional standards and codes of conduct
Essential Requirements
  • Level 1 Immigration and Asylum Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent written English, with strong grammar and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in IT (Word, Outlook, Excel, PDF applications) and internet research
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, particularly with vulnerable clients
  • Commitment to social justice and collaborative working
Desirable Attributes
  • Previous paralegal or administrative experience
  • Knowledge or experience in immigration and asylum law
  • Understanding of the UK legal system and familiarity with legal case management software
  • Spanish language skills (advantageous due to our significant Latin American client base)
What We Offer

We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all backgrounds. Flexible working arrangements are available. We will support the successful candidate in obtaining the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation.
