Helen Bates

Helen joined ITN Solicitors in July 2019 as a paralegal in the Civil Liberties Department. She assists clients in public and private law claims arising from their treatment by the police, prison authorities and in immigration detention. She also has experience in inquests and cases before the Parole Board.

Helen recently assisted in securing compensation for a client who was arrested after he attempted to protest outside the 2021 Conservative Party Conference by holding up a sign which read ‘Priti Fascist’.
