Linda Lusingu

Linda is a solicitor in the Family and Matrimonial team. She has a particular expertise in all matters concerning children, including divorce and financial matters in this country and across international borders. She also has experience in adoption and care proceedings.

Linda has developed a particular specialty in international parental child abduction cases and has represented many clients on matters involving abductions to Hague and non-Hague countries. She represents and advises clients in making such applications and in defending them. Linda is experienced in using the Inherent Jurisdiction of the High Court and especially in Wardship cases where the court’s hands might be tied in making other appropriate orders concerning children.

Linda advises cohabitees, married couples and civil partners on all aspects of relationship breakdown and the financial disputes that may arise as a result. She acts in divorce and financial remedy proceedings, including contested divorces and achieving settlements both in and out of court proceedings.
