Hands-on Fathers 'Less Likely to Break Up with Partners'

15/11/2018

A recent study finds child care and stable relationships are linked.  They survey further states government should encourage more men to take paternity leave. The article goes on to state that research shows how relationships are less likely to break down over the long term if the father looks after the baby on his own without the mother being there at least a few times a week during the first year.  According to Dr Helen Normal this correlation holds regardless of all other variables such as ethnicity, gender-role attitudes and household income.
